Tango in Zug supports the tango scene with milongas, workshops, and events - all with joy and a sense of community
The “Tango in Zug” association was founded in 2023 by and for dance enthusiasts, with the aim of promoting the tango scene in Zug and thereby making a cultural contribution to the town. To this end, we provide opportunities to practise in the form of training sessions and workshops, and organise several dance evenings (milongas) and tango events each year. We place great importance on ensuring that our volunteer-run association activities and events are always characterised by fun, a sense of community and a cosy atmosphere. In doing so, we also rely on collaboration with local and international tango organisations and artists, with whom we maintain close friendships. Our members have the opportunity to play an active role in the life of the club and help shape it, whilst also benefiting from great discounts (workshops, milongas, concerts) as well as invitations to special workshops and other social events (e.g. a summer barbecue).
We’re convinced that dancing brings joy to life – and what could be better than sharing that joy with others?!
Every month, a practice session takes place in Zug, offering a relaxed setting to practise and exchange ideas with other tango enthusiasts of all levels. We organise the venue and the music for you. All you need to bring is a good mood, something to eat and (if possible) a dance partner. - Let’s dance!
Would you like to join our club, get involved or simply find out more about us? If so, please fill in our contact form – we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
The membership fee for 2026 is CHF 50.
