Become part of the Schwan family!

With over 100 years of history, the MS Schwan is one of Switzerland’s oldest passenger ships, whilst also being at the cutting edge of technology. Anyone who has ever been on board knows: this isn’t just a journey from A to B. Here, you experience the charm of a bygone era and a view that, on a clear day, stretches as far as the Bernese Alps, including the Mönch, Eiger and Jungfrau.

To ensure this remains the case, the Schwan needs people who love it. The MS Schwan Association is committed to securing the long-term maintenance and operation of this nostalgic vessel on Lake Zug. After all, such a cultural asset does not preserve itself. It thrives on the commitment of those who believe it is worth preserving.

Our aim is for the Schwan to continue bringing joy to all boat enthusiasts and the wider public in the future. To children experiencing life on a boat for the first time. To families looking for a special day out. To visitors who appreciate something out of the ordinary. And to locals who wish to keep a piece of Zug’s past alive.

Membership fees: Your contribution keeps the Schwan on course

Your membership fee enables the MS Schwan to continue sailing. Operating and maintaining a ship that is over 100 years old is costly, and every contribution helps ensure that the Schwan can continue to make its rounds on Lake Zug in the future.

For as little as CHF 100 a year, you can join us as a crew member.
