About the Association
The Riedmatt Neighborhood Center is a gathering place for young and old alike, where private and public events, as well as courses and celebrations of all kinds, take place. It is designed to foster interaction, networking, and a sense of belonging among our neighborhood residents. The Westwind Neighborhood Association is the sponsoring organization for the Riedmatt Neighborhood Center, and its team runs the center on a volunteer basis.
On December 11, 2021, the community center was officially inaugurated and is now available to all residents, visitors to the city, and anyone else interested - without red tape, in a straightforward manner, and at a fair price.
The former kindergarten at Riedmatt 3 was renovated with great attention to detail, designed to be functional and tailored to residents’ needs. On the first floor, the approximately 100 m² multifunctional space can be used to host events and classes. It features a separate, fully equipped kitchen and an accessible restroom.
With just a few simple adjustments, the furniture can be rearranged to transform the space from an empty room for exercise classes into a banquet hall with seating for 60 or standing room for 80.

- New Year's and Summer Cocktail Party at the Neighborhood Center

- Regular exercise and children's classes, as well as other events
