Verein Gewürzmühle Zug
A unique cultural centre with a bistro, a varied programme and rooms available at reasonable prices.
About the Association
The unique Gewürzmühle cultural centre, with its natural surroundings, fosters an open, vibrant and inspiring space for culture through collective collaboration, with the aim of promoting cultural diversity and bringing people together.
The Gewürzmühle is managed with dedication by a professional governing body. Its simple and transparent operational structure ensures a respectful working environment, which fosters exchange and collaboration amongst the cultural practitioners at the Gewürzmühle.
The vibrant programme complements this exchange. The studios and rehearsal rooms are advertised publicly in accordance with clear eligibility criteria and let to cultural practitioners on a fixed-term basis. The spaces made available to the public, as well as the outdoor area, shape the identity of the Gewürzmühle and offer easy access to a diverse range of cultural events. This experimental space is open to established, emerging and non-professional cultural practitioners alike.
The bistro, as a key component, reflects the character of the Gewürzmühle and its cultural practitioners, and serves as a meeting place for people from the city, the canton and beyond.
