About the Association

Welcome to the Herti Zug hockey team

Ever since our foundation in **1983**, we have been united by our love of hockey and a strong team spirit. At the Herti Zug hockey team, the focus is not just on the game, but above all on team spirit. Our motto **‘Enjoying hockey – everyone for everyone’** has been with us for many years and shapes our club life.

Our team consists of members of different ages – from younger players to long-standing members. It is precisely this mix that makes our club special. For us, camaraderie, mutual respect and a family-like atmosphere are what count. New faces are always warmly welcome.

We’re active off the pitch too. Through our involvement in the **Zug Lake Festival** and **Jazz Night Zug**, we make an important contribution to our club’s funds. This enables us to fund joint activities such as our traditional coach trip to Arosa or other club events.
A regular highlight of our club year is the hockey tournament in December, in which we have been taking part for over 20 years. This weekend away, which includes an overnight stay, is funded from the club’s coffers and, year after year, strengthens our team spirit and the friendships within the club.

A strong club also means presenting a united front. That’s why we have a range of club merchandise and team kit, so that everyone can see straight away: **We belong together.

Whether on the pitch, at club events or during social gatherings – at the Herti Zug hockey team, fairness, friendship and a passion for the sport of hockey come first.

Herti Zug – since 1983. Enjoying hockey. Everyone for everyone.
