The Foto Forum Zug is an association of photographers whose goal is to promote photography as an art form.
The Foto Forum Zug is an association of photographers whose aim is to promote photography as an art form and to introduce the public to interesting and captivating photographic images. In keeping with our philosophy that photography should not be confined to any particular genre, we have so far exhibited everything from reportage, landscape, portrait, conceptual and experimental photography.
Since 2019, the Forum has been running ‘Switzerland’s smallest photo gallery’: a shop window at Bahnhofstrasse 26, 6300 Zug, featuring a large digital screen. For the past three years, we have also been running a second gallery on Gotthardstrasse (under the railway line) in Zug.

We also organised the first two editions of our biennial exhibition ‘Augenblick mal’ in December 2022 and December 2024 at the Shedhalle Zug. We were delighted to welcome over 600 visitors on both occasions, including 350 at our opening receptions.

We are a not-for-profit organisation; all sales are handled by the exhibiting photographers. Naturally, however, we welcome any financial support in the form of donations or grants, as well as expertise or advice that can help us achieve our goal of raising the profile of the forum.
