A pop choir full of passion, rhythm and rich sound!
Let’s try something new together🫶🏼 Music, parties, readings, comedy, private events, art, culture.
The legendary New Year’s Eve party marking the turn of the year 1995/96 can be seen as the launch of the cultural centre. Since then, culture has been very much alive at the Galvanik. Whether it’s a concert, a reading, a stage show or a party – the Galvanik offers a rich programme catering to diverse interests and tastes. It also has 11 rehearsal rooms and a small hall on the upper floor, which is used for a variety of purposes and can also be hired for private events.
Eight permanent staff members and numerous freelancers ensure that events, the bar and day-to-day operations run smoothly. The programme is developed partly by the programme committee and partly as co-productions in collaboration with external groups, associations and individuals.
Since our anniversary year in 2026, the Galvanik has been trialling numerous new formats: political discussions, electronic beats, local heroes, art and, of course, plenty of culture. The Galvanik meeting place is growing through and for everyone. Furthermore, the opening of the cultural pub ‘das kleine g’ has made it possible to visit the Galvanik independently of concerts, making it more accessible than ever – and establishing it as the new neighbourhood meeting place for the Choller area.
Galvanik is open to cultural collaborations of all kinds that align with its mission statement. So, if you have ideas for events and are looking for a partner to help bring them to life, please don’t hesitate to get in touch or drop us a line.
