About the Association

The ‘Faszination Technik’ project was founded in 2011 by the Zug Chamber of Commerce and has been run by bildxzug since 2013. The aim of the ‘Faszination Technik’ project is to inspire young people to take an interest in STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and thereby make a significant contribution to tackling the shortage of skilled workers. Practical workshops provide an insight into scientific and technical career paths. The programme includes workshops in robotics, programming, website design, 360° photography and several other areas. New workshops are continually being developed so that current topics such as artificial intelligence can be covered. To reach children and young people where they are, a decommissioned public transport bus was converted in 2021 – and the ‘Technik-Mobil’ was born. Since then, the mobile unit has been visiting various school playgrounds.
