About the Association

The Curling Club Zug was founded in 1966 and, with its approximately 200 members, is one of the largest curling clubs in Switzerland. The heart of the club is its modern curling hall, located right next to the OYM Hall, where players compete for stones and points on five first-class rinks from September through April.

Curling is a sport for all ages: the program ranges from the “Cherry Rockers” (ages 6–11) to ambitious juniors (up to age 21) and active players, all the way to experienced veterans (age 60 and up).

The “Spirit of Curling” is particularly important to the CC Zug. At the weekly club night (Wednesdays) and during the indoor championship, different generations come together on the ice. After the game, tradition is upheld with a shared aperitif or dinner in the public curling restaurant.

Would you like to try this exciting game with stones and brooms for yourself? New members are always welcome and can gain their first experiences in introductory courses.

For companies and clubs as well, the CC Zug offers the ideal setting for an unforgettable team event full of fun and action with its popular “recreational curling.”
